The Story of a Hunter Reborn. by ~Crispwind:iconCrispwind:

The Story of a Hunter Reborn.

This is a very difficult story for me but I shall tell it the best I remember. Most of you know me as a Night Elf Hunter that has tried to come into his own, well, it wasn’t always this way. There is a reason I get along with the dwarves so well. Some of you shall remember a warrior that really just didn’t get much done by the name of Kalmethwin. That was me.
Now wait let me explain.
There I was a midseasoned warrior with my dwarven clan. Killing and striving to be the best warrior that my clan had ever seen. Well let’s just say that I wasn’t as good as I thought I was. I found myself dieing and visiting my ancestors just a little too much, then as often I would do I would wonder around the lands noticing that there were these hunters getting glory and wealth and above all seemed happy to be alive.
Something I hadn’t really had in a long time.

Well as chance would have it one of my ancestors, my grandfather to be specific, Kalmethtin, came to me as I was trying to figure out to live or stay dead.

“Lad! Why are you here again?” he says to me. “You are not a warrior and you should not have joined the ranks of such dwarves.”

“Yes, Grandfather I know. But what am I to do?”
Then as I am sitting with my grandfather this chill comes over me and I turn and there next to me is the angel of death.
“Hello, Kalmethwin, I understand you and your grandfather have spoken on you continuing your life as a warrior, and what have you decided?
Your body is getting cold sir, you will have to choose go back or stay here.”

“I can stay here? Hmmmm that does not seem so bad.”
“No lad, its not that simple to stay here means not to live again. Let me make a suggestion for you. The angel and I have had a talk about this at great length. We are prepaid to give you what your heart desires. You can become the hunter that you were destined to be.”

As I start to smile I noticed that my grandfather had a look of approval but sorrow as well.
“What is it Grandfather? Why do you seem pained by this?”
“Kalmethwin it is not just a gift that you are given, you will be changed by this forever. You will no longer remember the dwarven ways and you will no longer belong to the stonehammer clan.”

“Why, I have not done anything wrong accept not to be a success.”

“Because that is the cost that you must pay. You will no longer even be a dwarf. There is a night elf that has fallen to illness, His ancestors have allowed him to ascend and agreed that you are to take his place. His name is Cessna when you arrive you will know nothing of your former life nor will you already know the skills of a hunter. You will work hard and be a success and I will never forget you boy.”

With that I was given some time to figure out if this is what I wanted.

As I sat there looking at the world I noticed a small night elf lady in Auberdine and instantly I knew where I needed to be.

I followed Starrain till it was time to speak to the angel again.
“I am ready.”
“Remember this Cessna you shall always have a home with the elves.”

And with that I awoke in my home of Teldrassil. I was to search for a while and learn my place as a hunter. After traveling to Auberdine. I discovered my love to be Starrain.
At first I was not sure of how to speak to her then I figured it out, I would protect her.

Little did I know that the angel had foreseen that I was to be with Starrain. I have followed Starrain thru two guilds to be here at home with the Order and I will not leave.

It is with a heavy heart that I must report even thou my love is strong for her Starrain has become a missing figure in my life but alas I will not give up on her.

Nice!
It seems we share a penchant for Elves and archery.
